On March 13, 2019, Vice Chancellor for Research Roger M. Wakimoto shared a BruinPost with Deans, Directors, Department Chairs and Administrative Officers informing them that UCLA Policy 990 (Use of Animals in Research, Teaching, and Testing) and Policy 992 (Use of Biohazardous Materials and Recombinant or Synthetic Nucleic Acid Molecules in Research and Teaching Activities) have been codified within UCLA’s Administrative Policies and Procedures (APP).
