The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research is hosting a town hall with Dr. Chris Fall, director of the Department of Energy's Office of Science on Friday, August 23. The Office of Science is the nation's largest supporter of basic research in the physical sciences. Dr. Fall will explain its mission, research interests and how it operates with the goal of encouraging more professors to engage with the DOE’s Office of Science. The event is open to the campus community. An RSVP is required to attend.
