On June 6, 2025, UCLA Professor Michael E. Jung gave his Faculty Research Lecture titled Drug Discovery in Academia: Some Success Stories. He discussed the process of medicinal chemistry and drug discovery in academia, and highlighted some examples that led to FDA-approved drugs.
