On July 18, 2022, Vice Chancellor for Research and Creative Activities Roger M. Wakimoto announced that UCLA Policies 916: Clinical Trial Protocol Review and Approval by an Independent Scientific Review Committee and 917: Good Clinical Practice Training and Certification have been codified in UCLA’s Administrative Policies and Procedures (APP).
These policies ensure high standards for clinical research in order to protect the rights and welfare of patients and human research subjects.
