On April 19, 2023 the Office of Research & Creative Activities (ORCA) hosted the 134th Faculty Research Lecture at Schoenberg Hall. Nominated and selected by peers, Professor of Physiology and Neurobiology Baljit S. Khakh presented his research on how overlooked brain cells contribute to brain function as well as neurological and psychiatric diseases. This well-attended event was the first Faculty Research Lecture to be held in-person since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.
