Vice Chancellor for Research and Creative Activities Roger Wakimoto hosted a series of International Engagement: Research Security and Disclosure Requirements Virtual Town Halls for UCLA faculty, staff and researchers in November. Deans from the various schools, colleges, and divisions also provided remarks. Presenters for the 75-minute town halls, Director of Export Controls Ann Pham and OCGA Senior Director Tracey Fraser, provided an update on the current landscape of international engagement in research, and offered guidance on navigating federal agency requirements, institutional and faculty responsibilities, export controls and sanctions and collaborations with countries of concern.
