On February 13, 2023 Vice Chancellor for Research & Creative Activities Roger Wakimoto and Interim DataX Director Safiya Noble shared DataX’s Strategy Task Force Report and updates on the initiative.
DataX invited the Bruin community to their winter and spring quarter salons series, hosted on Fridays, and announced The DataX Collaborathon. The DataX Collaborathon will consist of a series of funding opportunities intended to generate exciting new knowledge and help cultivate research teams poised for extramural funding. The initial phase of the DataX Collaborathon will be funding for Working Group Microgrants (applications due March 20, 2023).
