On February 17, 2022, Vice Chancellor for Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Anna Spain Bradley announced that proposals are now being accepted for the Faculty Career Development Award program (FCDA) which provides funding for regular rank Assistant Professors and Assistant Professors-in-Residence at a critical time in the pre-tenure stage. Awards are made in the form of a lump-sum of $5,000 – $15,000 in research funds. Applications are invited from Assistant Professors in the regular rank and In-Residence professorial series, with the exception of individuals for whom AY ’22–’23 will be her, his or their final year as Assistant Professor because of promotion, non-reappointment, or resignation. Applications should be submitted to Department Chairs by March 18, 2022.
