On October 22, 2021, Amir Naiberg, Associate Vice Chancellor and CEO and President of the UCLA Technology Development Group (TDG), announced an open call for UCLA’s fourth cohort of UCLA's Innovation Fellows (previously known as UCLA’s Faculty Innovation Fellows). The campus-wide Innovation Fellows program is aimed at advancing entrepreneurial excellence and startup culture among faculty and postdocs across campus. Open to all UCLA faculty and postdoctoral researchers, 8-10 teams will be invited to participate in dedicated mentoring with Startup UCLA. The program is designed to advance innovative academic projects into new startups or non-profits. The program culminates in a public Pitch Showcase to the UCLA community and a network of local entrepreneurs and investors.
The application deadline is November 28, 2021, 11:59 pm. Open informational office hours are being held via Zoom on November 5, 12, and 19 to answer questions about the program. For more information, please view the program application and the BruinPost.
NOTE: The 2022 program is intended to be hybrid with in-person and Zoom events.
