On February 4, 2019, Joseph Bristow (Chair Academic Senate) and José Luiz Passos (Chair Academic Senate Service Award Committee) invited members of the Academic Senate, Deans, Directors, Department Chairs, and Administrative Officers for their participation in the nomination process for the 2019 Academic Senate Service Award.
The Academic Senate Service Award offers an excellent opportunity to recognize a member of the UCLA Division of the Academic Senate for their outstanding and dedicated service to the campus and/or the larger community, and whose activities have significantly enhanced UCLA’s mission of education, research and service.The Academic Senate Service Award Committee will name one faculty member of the Academic Senate as a recipient of the award. This recipient will receive an award of $2,000.
Entries must be submitted by Friday, March 15, 2019 by 5:00 PM (PST). Information describing the purpose, eligibility, criteria, and nomination instructions for this award are available on the Academic Senate Awards web page.
