When Vice Chancellor Wakimoto began the Vice Chancellor role, he assessed the staffing structure and open positions. He determined that with a reorganization and an investment in additional funds, several functions could be added to the office. The positions to be added include: a deputy director, a person focused on events/high profile visits and research development professionals.
Initiation Date
The reorganization activity began in fiscal year 2018.
Current Status
The reorganization has been operationalized with the Deputy Director and Events Manager positions filled in Summer and Fall 2018. The plans for the proposal development and support team are still under development.
